May 2010 Meeting and Program
Our May meeting will be on May 16 at the home of Pollyann Baird, 610 N Jefferson in Loveland and will begin at 2 PM. Our program will be a general discussion of our gardens, what problems we may be experiencing and how to better remedy this. Refreshments will be served and guests are always welcome.

September 20, 2009
Our September Meeting will be at the home and garden of Carol Roman, 2432 Agate Dr in Loveland. The meeting will begin at 3 PM. with the Program titled, “A Show and Tell Garden,” and will explain what it means to have an exhibitor’s garden, what the differences are and how she maintains her garden. Our June 21 Meeting will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1003 W 6th St beginning at 2 PM. Our program will be “What it takes to be a Consulting Rosarian” and will be given by Stan Griep and Carol Roman, both Consulting Rosarians. The April program is titled “How Florists Secure and Care for Roses,” and will be given by Bill Rogers, Owner of Rowe’s Flowers.
March 15, 2009
Stan Griep, consulting Rosarian and long time member of the Loveland Rose Society will give the March program.
The program will be on “How to plant and transplant roses.”

Emily Weakland, a CSU Horticulturist and Consultant
will give the program. She is a CSU Horticulturist and Consultant.
The program will be on winterizing roses.

Hello loveland rose society i was wondering when your next rose show will be in 2009 and where. Me and my wife were thinking of coming up to beautiful colo. And showing a few roses and then vacationing please let us know. so we can starting planing our trip thanks.

The Loveland Rose Society is not having a rose show in 2009.
Last year we decided to alternate with St Vrain Rose Society and assist them on the years they are doing a show. St Vrain Rose Society is in Longmont, not far from Loveland so this should work for you as well. The show will be in August, I believe on the 8th, but the date has not yet been confirmed.
The show will be a district show, so should have good attendance from rosarians out of the immediate area. I hope you can attend.
