Paula was both loved and respected as a Charter Member of the Loveland Rose Society since 1963.  No one had a bigger smile and heart than she did to welcome, encourage, and teach others how to grow, show, and arrange roses.  Mel and I went to our first Rose Society meeting in 1992, and Paula greeted us at the door.  Thus began a wonderful friendship through our love of roses.  Paula had a heart for the Loveland Rose Society; she held all offices except treasurer.  She was a gracious hostess and a talented cook, often hosting gatherings for members in her lovely garden full of roses, dahlias and other flowers.  She always had time for others and gave design programs for the annual rose show.  Paula had much success with both her horticulture and arrangement entries, receiving numerous awards and trophies.

Her commitment to the Loveland Rose Society helped sustain it through the years as membership ebbed and flowed.  Through her dedication, the society survived and continued to host District and annual rose shows and welcome many new members through the years.

Paula made many lifetime friends in Loveland and Estes Park through her activities at the Senior Center, card parties, and The First Baptist Church.  Paula never met a stranger; her laugh and smile will always hold fond memories for all of us who were blessed by her goodness.  Rest in peace,  Paula.

Your many friends in the Loveland Rose Society
